GREAT EXPERIENCE IN GREAT BRITAIN

We travelled to Hastings, Sussex County in U.K. 

A land of history dating 1066

This is where we stayed: 

WHITE ROCK MANSION

England is a country of extraordinary greenish landscape

THIS WAS OUR SCHOOL

we also visited LONDON, the capital city

We enjoyed BRIGHTON with the Royal Pavilion and the beach

We walked around Rye, a gorgeous village, with Harry, who accompanied us every single day

We  had our time for fun and culture

and traditional English food in our dining-room at the mansion

Hope we go back next year...

We are happy, very happy...
Our spelling bee competition was a great success.
It was held at the C.A.E. in Valdemoro last Wednesday, 24th May 2017.
Ten High Schools from South Madrid took part.

This was our team: students from 1st,2nd and 3rd year of E.S.O.

Some workshops were organized with the help of Language Assistants from the other schools: we made dream-catchers, we made rollercoasters and we also learned some swing and Scottish dances steps:

We were winners 1st, 2nd and 3rd E.S.O. and had the second position for 2nd and 3rd E.S.O.
We are proud of our students: Ángel, Cosmin, Lara ,Josefina and Vlad , who got prizes , and also of Lorena, Javier, Meri and Maryan, enthusiastic and hard-working.

We are taking part in a really interesting project: 
            AMBASSADORS   SCHOOLS
Three are the requirements to take part:  

1. Infopoint at school
2. Activities related to the European Union throughout the school year

• VIRTUAL TRIP TO TWO EUROPEAN COUNTRIES (one country belonging to the Euro-zone and the other country which does not) WHERE IS IT CHEAPER TO TRAVEL? WHERE COULD YOU ENJOY  A BETTER STANDARD OF LIVING?
• VISITING 'PARQUE EUROPA'  AND TAKE PHOTOS  FOR A PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST AT SCHOOL.
• THE VOICES OF EUROPE
• BREXIT: CONFERENCE AND DEBATE IN THE SCHOOL LIBRARY, LED BY OUR GREAT BRTISH ASSISTANT, ADAM
• THE VOICES OF EUROPE

  3. special event for the DAY OF EUROPE, 9th of May 

• MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE of a PARLIAMENTARY SESSION

Valentine's Day in our school

We wrote lots of cards and brought sweets and flowers . Then we gave them to our 'loving' Language Assistants : Emily, Christine, Adam and Trevor.
Little presents for our best friends or 'sweethearts'.
The language assistants delivered them to the recipients. They entered into classrooms and......there you are!
