We are taking part in a really interesting project: 
            AMBASSADORS   SCHOOLS
Three are the requirements to take part:  

1. Infopoint at school
2. Activities related to the European Union throughout the school year

• VIRTUAL TRIP TO TWO EUROPEAN COUNTRIES (one country belonging to the Euro-zone and the other country which does not) WHERE IS IT CHEAPER TO TRAVEL? WHERE COULD YOU ENJOY  A BETTER STANDARD OF LIVING?
• VISITING 'PARQUE EUROPA'  AND TAKE PHOTOS  FOR A PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST AT SCHOOL.
• THE VOICES OF EUROPE
• BREXIT: CONFERENCE AND DEBATE IN THE SCHOOL LIBRARY, LED BY OUR GREAT BRTISH ASSISTANT, ADAM
• THE VOICES OF EUROPE

  3. special event for the DAY OF EUROPE, 9th of May 

• MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE of a PARLIAMENTARY SESSION

Valentine's Day in our school

We wrote lots of cards and brought sweets and flowers . Then we gave them to our 'loving' Language Assistants : Emily, Christine, Adam and Trevor.
Little presents for our best friends or 'sweethearts'.
The language assistants delivered them to the recipients. They entered into classrooms and......there you are!

February celebration: Valentine's Day in our school in Valdemoro

We really enjoy Anglosaxon culture and we can't forget SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY, a day to celebrate LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP.

FOLLOWING MARTIN LUTHER KING'S DAY

Hidden Figures is a 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi and written by Melfi and Allison Schroeder, based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly, about female African-American mathematicians at NASA. The film stars Taraji P. Henson as Katherine G. Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectories for Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spencer as Dorothy Vaughanand Janelle Monáe as Mary Jackson, with Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Glen Powell and Mahershala Aliin supporting roles.

Principal photography began in March 2016 in Atlanta and was wrapped up in May 2016. Hidden Figures was released on December 25, 2016 by 20th Century Fox. It received positive reviews from critics and has grossed $84 million. It was chosen by National Board of Review as one of the top ten films of 2016^[4] and has been nominated for numerous awards, including three Oscars: Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress for Spencer. It also received two Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Spencer) and Best Original Score.

GLOBAL CLASSROOMS PRELIMINARY CONFERENCES

3ºB, 3ºC and 3º D students have been working very hard since September with our great Language Assistant Emily Weinstock to learn the procedures for the competition and to improve their English.

Ten students were chosen to represent our High School I.E.S.NEIL ARMSTRONG on Thursday 19th.

We are so proud of them. Their performance was brilliant. Here you have some photographs
