GLOBAL CLASSROOMS 2018

On the 22nd January 2018 we have attended our GLOBAL CLASSROOMS PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE.

IT HAS BEEN A HARD AND LONG DAY, BUT IT ALSO INCLUDES PLENTY OF FUN...

WE HAVE BEEN REALLY GOOD!!!

We were in three different classrooms . We have met students from other high schools in Madrid.

Now we have to wait until next week to see if we have been chosen for the second phase of the competition.
Dreaming of winning the trip to New York is so motivating!!!

IN OUR HIGH SCHOOL, WE HAVE DECORATED THE HALL WITH ALL OUR CREATIONS:

TWO OF THEM WON THE PRIZE TO THE BEST CHRISTMAS CARD: ONE STUDENT FROM 1ºE.S.O.D  AND ONE STUDENT FROM 1º BACHILLERATO B.

Yes, we were practicing our skills for public speaking before the official debate in

CRIF LAS ACACIAS next 22nd of January

But for two days, in the C.A.E. of Valdemoro, we have been trying to do our best in order to be chosen to represent our high school.

Look at our formal clothing and of course, our interest in being really good.

We were accompanied by our teachers: Ana, Rosa, Daniel, Alberto y María J., apart from the Language assistant Scott Paneck

THANKSGIVING 2017

Hi all of you!

This year it has been a bit different....FOR THE BEST!

'Thanksgiving' is an American celebration: families and friends gather around a big dinner and in a symbolic way,  they thank for their family,  good friends , all the things that they have.

Sometimes we forget that there are needy people around us .

Our language assistants (thank you to you all) organized a FOOD DRIVE, also a popular activity,  which consisted on collecting food and donate it to an N-G.O.
